Peer Review Process
The Journal of Cyber Law peer review process ensures that submitted manuscripts meet the journal's standards for quality and relevance.
1. Initial Review
Upon submission, the editor conducts an initial review to assess the manuscript's suitability based on the journal’s focus and scope, similarity score (using Crosscheck-Turnitin), methodological rigor, readability, and adherence to the journal’s formatting guidelines.
2. Single-Blind Peer Review
If the manuscript passes the initial review, it is sent to at least two anonymous reviewers in a single-blind peer-review process. Reviewers remain anonymous, while the authors’ identities are known to the reviewers.
3. Author Revisions
The reviewers’ comments and suggestions are sent to the corresponding author for any necessary revisions. Authors are expected to respond to each reviewer’s feedback to improve the manuscript.
4. Editorial Decision
Following the author’s revisions, the editorial team holds a meeting to make a final decision on the manuscript based on the revised version. The Editor then communicates the final decision to the corresponding author.
5. Copyediting and Layout Editing
Accepted manuscripts proceed to the copyediting and layout editing stages to prepare the camera-ready version for publication.
