Licensing Terms

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the licensing terms described below. These terms are intended to support open access publishing, protect author rights, and ensure that published works can be shared, reused, and cited properly.

1. Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By submitting and publishing an article in this journal, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.

The article is published under an open access license that allows readers and other users to access, share, and reuse the work in accordance with the license terms.

2. Creative Commons License

Articles published in this journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated on the article page.

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users are permitted to:

• Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
• Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material;
• Use the work for any lawful purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions are granted provided that proper attribution is given to the original author(s), the article title, the journal, and the original publication source.

3. Attribution Requirement

Any reuse, redistribution, adaptation, or quotation of a published article must include appropriate acknowledgment of the original work. Proper attribution should include:

• The name of the author(s);
• The title of the article;
• The name of the journal;
• The year of publication;
• The DOI or official article URL, when available;
• A statement that the work is licensed under CC BY 4.0.

4. Author Rights

Authors are permitted to share and distribute their published articles without requesting additional permission from the journal, provided that the original publication in this journal is properly acknowledged.

Authors may:

• Post the published article on their personal website;
• Deposit the article in an institutional repository;
• Deposit the article in a subject repository;
• Share the article through academic networks or scholarly platforms;
• Use the article in teaching, training, or academic presentations;
• Include the article or parts of it in future scholarly works, such as books, reports, or edited volumes, with proper citation.

5. Non-Exclusive Distribution

Authors may enter into separate, additional, non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the published version of the article. For example, authors may allow the article to be included in an institutional repository, academic database, edited book, or other scholarly platform.

Any additional distribution must clearly acknowledge that the article was first published in this journal.

6. Preprint and Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online before, during, and after the submission process, including on personal websites, institutional repositories, preprint servers, or other appropriate scholarly platforms.

Sharing the work online can support academic discussion, improve research visibility, and increase the potential impact and citation of the published article.

7. Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party materials included in their manuscript, such as figures, tables, images, datasets, screenshots, or other copyrighted content, are used legally and ethically.

• Third-party materials must be properly cited.
• Permission must be obtained when required by copyright law or license terms.
• Materials not covered by the article's CC BY 4.0 license must be clearly identified.
