Peer Review
The journal applies a structured peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and academic integrity of every submitted manuscript. All manuscripts are processed through the journal website and evaluated according to the journal's focus and scope, publication ethics, methodological quality, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal website by uploading the manuscript file and completing the required submission metadata. The submitted manuscript is then recorded in the journal system and assigned to the Editor or Section Editor for initial editorial processing.
2. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editor or Section Editor conducts an initial screening to determine whether the manuscript is suitable for further review. This stage may include checking the following aspects:
- Suitability with the journal's focus and scope;
- Compliance with the journal template and author guidelines;
- Originality and similarity level using plagiarism or similarity-checking tools;
- Clarity of title, abstract, keywords, and manuscript structure;
- Relevance and quality of the references;
- Basic methodological soundness and academic contribution;
- Readability, language quality, and overall presentation.
Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or rejected before peer review.
3. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation. The journal applies a single-blind peer-review process, in which the reviewers know the identity of the authors, but the reviewers' identities are not disclosed to the authors.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity of analysis, validity of findings, discussion quality, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field. Reviewers then submit their comments, suggestions, and recommendations to the Editor.
4. Reviewer Recommendations
Based on the review results, reviewers may provide one of the following recommendations:
- Accept the manuscript;
- Accept with minor revisions;
- Request major revisions;
- Resubmit for further review;
- Reject the manuscript.
5. Author Revision
Reviewer comments and editorial feedback are forwarded to the corresponding author. Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to the comments and submit the revised version through the journal system within the specified time. Authors may also be asked to provide a response letter explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed.
6. Editorial Decision
After receiving the revised manuscript, the Editor or Section Editor evaluates the revision and considers the reviewers' recommendations. The manuscript may be accepted, returned for further revision, sent for additional review, or rejected. The final decision is made by the Editor based on the quality of the manuscript, reviewer feedback, author revisions, and journal standards.
7. Copyediting, Layout, and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage. This stage includes copyediting, formatting, layout editing, galley preparation, and proofreading. Authors may be asked to review the edited manuscript or proof version to ensure that the final article is accurate and ready for publication.
8. Publication and Archiving
After the editing and proofreading process is completed, the article is scheduled for publication in an issue of the journal. The editorial team prepares the table of contents, assigns the article to the appropriate issue, and publishes the final version through the journal website. Published articles are archived in the journal system and made available for indexing, discovery, and future access.
9. Review and Publication Ethics
The journal is committed to maintaining a fair, objective, confidential, and ethical peer-review process. Editors, reviewers, and authors are expected to follow the journal's publication ethics, avoid conflicts of interest, and uphold academic integrity throughout the editorial process.
